Introduction

Badisa Wynberg forms part of a national faith based social service organisation which provides services focused on the care, social development and treatment of  vulnerable people of all ages, races, sexual orientation and religions.

Badisa Wynberg is accredited as a designated child protection agency and has the statutory obligation to protect children in accordance with the Children's Act. The focus of our work is to protect children from all forms of neglect and child abuse and to promote the development of children who are found to be most vulnerable.

Our mission is to provide excellent social work and support services to children, families and communities in need and establish development programmes aimed at promoting the healthy development and functioning of individuals.

This is achieved through statutory child protection intervention, family-mediation, foster care, community development programs and early childhood development (ECD) training.
